Encryption is only half of privacy. The rest is making sure nobody knows there is anything to look for.

One look and you are in. Your key lives in the Secure Enclave — everyone else gets a passcode screen.
Every file is sealed with AES-256-GCM on device. Even with your phone in hand, the bytes are unreadable.
Organise inside the vault with albums, favourites and a date-grouped grid that stays fast at thousands of items.
Export the whole vault to one encrypted file you control. A lost phone should never mean lost photos.
Wrong passcode? Vaultly silently photographs whoever is holding your phone and logs the time.
Not a promise about what we choose to do. A fact about how the app is built.
Vaultly ships with no networking code at all. Not "we promise not to upload" — there is nowhere to upload to. Check the App Store privacy label: every field reads Data Not Collected.
Vaultly never asks for an email, a phone number or a sign-in. There is nothing to link your photos to you.
The app ships with no networking code at all. Your photos are never uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload them to.
It never leaves the device and is never stored. It unwraps a random 256-bit key held in the iOS keychain.
Forget your passcode and the photos are gone — including for us. That is the honest cost of encryption that actually works, so make a backup.
These are examples of the voice to aim for. Replace them with verbatim App Store reviews once you have them.
“Example review copy. Aim for one specific detail — the moment the app earned their trust.”
“Example review copy. The decoy vault and break-in alerts are what people tend to talk about.”
“Example review copy. Keep the length short — three lines is the sweet spot on mobile.”
On your iPhone only. Vaultly has no account system and no server. Every photo and video is encrypted with AES-256-GCM on the device, and the key never leaves it.
Nothing can be recovered. Your passcode is the only key and Vaultly never stores it. That is what makes the encryption real — it applies to us too. Create an encrypted backup so a forgotten passcode or a lost phone does not mean lost photos.
A second passcode that opens a completely separate vault with its own photos. If someone pressures you to unlock the app, you open the decoy. There is no way to tell from inside it that a real vault exists.
Yes. Vaultly is a universal app with a sidebar layout on iPad and a tab layout on iPhone. It requires iOS 26 or iPadOS 26.
Yes. Disguise the icon as a calculator, weather or notes app, remove it from the Home Screen so it only appears in the App Library, and hide it from Spotlight search.
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. A screenshot taken inside Vaultly is saved to your Photos library, outside the vault. Vaultly warns you when it detects one so you can delete it.
